Some Impressions of the incredible Landscape - Ladakh

Impressive Spituk Monastery is a Buddhist monastery in Leh and perched overlooking the southern end of Leh's airport runway. You find sleeping dogs as well as many offerings like jewels, money and food. His Holiness The Dalai Lama has his own comfy seat in the monastery and a Buddha statue supposedly incorporates a very odd relict: Tsongkhapa's nosebleed!

Snapshots of Leh

Few places in India are so traveller-friendly and yet so enchanting and hassle-free as mountain-framed Leh. The altitude means that most visitors initially suffer mild headaches and breathlessness. I also had a very bumpy heart at nighttime…

Flying to Leh

This is a photo taken from the airplane flying to Leh in Ladakh. The mountains are spectacular in the himalayan mountains! Ladakh means the land of high passes and is a region of India in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Leh is a beautiful place, a little bustling and touristic, but with very friendly locals. Almost half of Ladakhis are Shia Muslims and the rest are mostly Tibetan Buddhists!

Beautiful Room in Senggigi - Lombok

What a wonderful place to be! I found this colorful room on airbnb and it was our home for two weeks on Lombok! Edu is a great host, also his staff. Starting the morning with an outdoor shower in the beautiful bathroom, then having a tasty nasi goreng and pineapple juice for breakfast! I also loved the view over the mosque till the sea of Senggigi! Thank you for the wonderful time!
